3 years ago Boy Wonder was diagnosed with Autism. 2 years ago, I put him on the bus to go special needs preschool. Today, I think of all the other parents who put their "special" babies on the bus for the first time. I want you to know it will be ok. You'll do it because you know it's what your baby needs. So put them on the bus, go inside have a good cry and they'll be home before you know it.
it will be ok
ReplyDeleteWell said, my friend. xo
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this. My 4 yr old nephew has just started school 2 months ago and started riding the bus this month. I have a constant lump in my throat and stomach all day until he is safely home. Its hard to allow others to be in charge of keeping him safe.
ReplyDeleteI have the same issue with putting my child in the van to go to his special needs program. I'm not sure why Kindergarten is easier, but it's hard missing out on the drop off and pick up for the preschool years.
